Transforming Homes Across Surrey, Sussex & The South East
From £5,000 refreshes to £500,000 transformations
At Lime Designs, we help homeowners turn their existing properties into the homes of their dreams. Based in Dorking, Surrey, we offer a full range of building, extension, and home improvement services across Surrey, Sussex, and surrounding areas — including Guildford, Reigate, Leatherhead, Horsham, Crawley, and Epsom.
Whether you’re planning to extend your kitchen, add a new bedroom, open up your ground floor, or completely refurbish your property, our friendly and experienced team delivers high-quality workmanship, reliable project management, and beautiful results you’ll love for years to come.
We understand that any building work can feel like a big step — it’s an investment in both your home and your lifestyle. That’s why we take the time to get to know you, your home, and your vision. Our experienced builders, designers, and project managers work closely with you from the first design concept to the final coat of paint, ensuring everything runs smoothly, on time, and on budget.
With years of experience in the Surrey and Sussex building trade, we’ve helped homeowners across the South East transform their properties with extensions, renovations, refurbishments, and home improvements that add value and comfort.
If you love your home but need more room, a home extension is the perfect solution. Whether you’re planning a single-storey kitchen extension, a two-storey addition for extra bedrooms, or a side-return extension to open up your living area, our team can make it happen.
We’ll guide you through every stage — from planning permissions and building regulations to design layouts, materials, and finishes. We can also help you integrate your extension seamlessly with your existing home so that it feels like it’s always been there.
A Lime Designs extension not only gives you more space but also increases your property’s value and functionality — ideal if you’re growing your family, working from home, or simply want a more spacious layout for modern living.
If your home is feeling tired or outdated, our refurbishment and renovation services can bring it back to life. From period property restorations to contemporary upgrades, we handle projects of all sizes — from single-room refits to full property overhauls.
Our team can transform old kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces into fresh, modern environments while preserving the character and charm that make your property unique. We use premium materials, skilled tradespeople, and careful project management to ensure every detail is finished to perfection.
Whether you’ve just moved into a property in need of refurbishment or you’re ready to give your family home a fresh new look, we’ll work with you to create a space that feels brand new — without the stress of moving.
Open-plan living has become one of the most popular ways to modernise a home — creating bright, sociable spaces perfect for family life. At Lime Designs, we carry out structural work such as wall removals, steel installations, and reconfigurations safely and professionally.
We’ll liaise with structural engineers where required and ensure all work meets UK building regulations. Once complete, we can handle every element of the new layout — from new flooring and lighting to kitchen installations and decorating.
One of the biggest advantages of working with Lime Designs is our fully managed service. We coordinate every aspect of your project, so you don’t have to juggle multiple trades or schedules.
Our dedicated project managers oversee timelines, budgets, and quality control, keeping you informed at every stage. From architects and designers to electricians and decorators, everyone on your project shares one goal — delivering exceptional results with minimal disruption to your daily life.
